The End of Range Anxiety
FLO is one of the largest EV charging networks in North America and the largest in Canada. We want to make sure that as a driver, you always have somewhere to charge, whether you’re at home, at work or on the go.
In addition to the 10,000 FLO stations across Canada, we collaborate with other charging networks to bring you even more coverage. Your FLO membership gives you access to Electric Circuit in Quebec, eCharge network in New Brunswick and ChargePoint in the United States.
With the FLO network, you never need to worry about getting where you’re going. Simply enjoy the ride.
Types of Charging Stations
When you charge on the FLO network, you’ll have access to Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations. So, what’s the difference between these two?
Level 2 Charging Stations
The first type of charger, a Level 2 charging station, uses a 240-volt power source. This type of station has a J1772 connector and can charge the battery of your electric vehicle in 4 to 5 hours.
Level 2 charging is ideal for times when you know you’ll be parked for a few hours, like while you’re shopping or going to the movies. Watch now to see how to use a Level 2 charging station.
FLO Level 2 charging stations are compatible with all models of fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Learn more about compatibility here.
Level 3 Charging Stations (Fast Charging)
Need to charge up quickly? Fast charging or DC charging stations operate at a minimum of 400 -volts so that you can get 80% charged in around 30 minutes. Watch now to see how to use a Level 3 charging station.
Fast chargers work with vehicles that have the CHAdeMO or the SAE Combo connector. Not sure if your car is compatible? Check here to see if your EV accepts fast charging.
